The chief executive at Eurostar International Ltd, a leading manufacturer and exporter of diamonds, gems and precious jewellery, Mr. Dewan is a research associate and specializes as a scientific gemologist and accredited jewelry professional from the best institutes/universities in the world.

He is an academician involved with research in gemology and jewellery. He also offers career counseling, teaching and gemological consultancy to various design schools and inst9itutes in the country and abroad. Besides the above mentioned, he is a marketing, design and product development consultant with various international companies. He is also associated as an insurance jewelry appraiser. He is regularly featured by both the print and electronic media for his experience and exposure in the trade.

Mr. Dewan heads the Jewelry Design Department as "Course Director" at the JD Institute of Fashion Technology where he has designed courses in jewelry design, international diamond grading, and color stones. He imparts his expertise and educates and grooms the students.
